Marie-Chantal Lamothe has been BDC's Chief Human Resources Officer since 2019. She is recognized for her expertise in human resources management and her interest in business adaptation and evolution. She has implemented major technological and organizational transformation initiatives throughout her career.
With over 30 years' experience, Marie-Chantal has held a variety of roles in human resources, including change management, organizational development and talent acquisition. She has worked for the Jean Coutu Group, Laurentian Bank, Bombardier Aerospace and Deloitte.
Marie-Chantal holds a bachelor's degree in finance from HEC Montréal and a master's degree in human resources management from Université de Sherbrooke. She is also a certified administrator with the ICD.A designation, awarded by the Institute of Corporate Directors. An active member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA) and a Fellow since 2025, she is a recognized author and speaker.
